Why is lifestyle photography important?
Besides having so much fun as a family in front of the camera, lifestyle photography is so much more laid back. Making your session and everyone involved much more relaxed. This allows for more candid photos with running around, roaming and letting little ones do what they want. Which leads to a happier time for everybody! With this type of photography you are able to capture the true nature of a family, couple, etc. You can see the raw love, appreciation and nurturing acceptance within your families/couples.
How to make the best out of your lifestyle photos.
Some things to remember when taking lifestyle photos are:
- Keep them to 1-hour sessions (I have found this is the best time frame to get the best photos, especially when kiddos are involved)
- Make sure to shoot 1-hour PRIOR to sunset (you want that gorgeous glow!)
- Location is everything! Choose a beautiful field or meadow—they’re always a people pleaser!
